Job Description:

Trigyn has a contractual opportunity for a Videographer. This resource will work remotely for our client.

Job Responsibilities:

The videographer will support the client Communications team to promote the work of the client and its personnel by producing engaging multimedia content. Examples of duties to be performed will include any or all of the following:
• Videography support:
o Create short videos for the Women in Tech Campaign for social media coverage, adhering to client communications standards and following filming and editing best practices.
o Set up interviews with a selected list of Women in Tech Campaign participants.
o Assist with the production of supporting graphics incl. social media assets
o Provide script writing/editing support
• Post-production of acquired footage:
o Edit videos to create a final version for publishing on client social media.
o Optimize graphics and video content for web and social media platforms.
• Ensure videos are accessibility compliant.
• Propose new ideas and suggestions for improving social media coverage

Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Communications, Journalism or Marketing is required.

Skills:
• iMovie, Canva, Clipchamp or any online video making/editing tool.
• Office 365 Tools.

Languages
English and French are the working languages. Fluency in English (both oral and written) is required. Knowledge of another official language is an advantage.

• Ability to provide communications advice and be strategic and analytical
• Knowledge of information and communications technology is an asset

• Very good understanding of visual content, including how it can best be produced and shared on social media
• Strong awareness of social media trends
• Familiarity with the client system
