Trigyn Designed and Developed Co-Win Application Receives High Praise at Washington DC Event

Developed Co-Win Application

Washington, D.C. In a recent speech in Washington DC, India's External Affairs Minister, Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, showcased India's recent achievements in science and technology, and among the key accomplishments mentioned was the groundbreaking Co-WIN application. During the event, he emphasized that "the new India is an India of Chandraayan, it's an India of Co-WIN, and it’s an India of 5G" referring to India’s successful lunar landing, national COVID-19 vaccination management system, and adoption of 5G technologies.

The Co-WIN vaccination management system was instrumental in India's fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. It was the digital backbone of India's COVID-19 vaccination program, serving as a comprehensive platform for vaccine distribution, clinic logistics and management, appointment booking, and documentation of vaccination status. The application successfully managed the efficient and equitable administration of more than 2.2 billion doses of vaccine to more than 1.1 billion Indian citizens. Based on the success of the program in India, the Indian Government offered Co-WIN to other countries to help them better manage their own national vaccination programs.

Trigyn Technologies is proud to have played a pivotal role in designing and developing the Co-WIN application. Trigyn took on the challenge of developing the Co-WIN application, despite very tight timelines and extreme technical requirements which included the capacity to handle the massive user loads needed to serve India’s population of 1.4 billion people. Trigyn’s expertise in designing robust, high-capacity, user-friendly applications proved to be instrumental to the program’s success. Trigyn successfully delivered the first release of Co-WIN within 3 months of project initiation with additional features and capabilities added with subsequent releases.

Trigyn is currently working with the Indian Government to convert the successful Co-WIN platform into U-WIN, which will become a national platform for managing India’s Universal Immunization Program spanning all nationally funded vaccinations.

Trigyn is proud to be the trusted technology partner of national, state and local governments and agencies across India.
